I went into this store to try and resolve an issue I'm having where my daughters phone is receiving my phone calls and my phone is reflecting all of her calls in my call log. This all started about a month earlier when I upgraded my phone in this same store. The associate, while waiting on another customer, asked me what I was needing. She then proceeded to ask me if we shared an iTunes account to which I replied yes. She then told me lie number one and said that because we were sharing the same iTunes account we would get each other's text messages. First of all, I never said anything about texts. Second of all, we have yet to have any problems with our text messages. I explained that to her, which she pretty much ignored, and proceeded to tell me lie number two in that anytime you share an iTunes account you are going to have problems like this. My wife and I have had iPhones on the same iTunes account continuously since the 3G came out in 2008. We added my daughter on the same account about three years ago and between the three of us we have had about 10 different iPhones on the same iTunes account and have never had any problems until a month ago. I still haven't had any problems with my wife's phone, so the problem is obviously not the account, it's something to do with two specific phones. I pointed this out to her, again. She then tells me the exact same thing she has told me already, and I just stand there looking at her. Then she tells me it would probably be better for me to just call Apple and deal with them, because that's what she would have to do. Guess what? I don't pay a monthly bill to Apple. I do however, pay a monthly bill to AT&T. Plus, I have already called and tried to fix it over the phone. Most of the time, I preferred to deal with people in person. However, when you have someone who is unwilling to listen to your problems, and then actually attempt to fix it, I'll just stick with the 800 number. I called the 800-number and canceled my daughters line on our bill. I'll just go to Walmart and get her a prepaid.
