a great piece of the giant puzzle of civilization. very informative and shows years of diligent effort to make it so nice

The Ozark Area Depot Museum was constructed of native stone for the Missouri Pacific Railroad in 1910 to serve customers in the Arkansas River Valley town. It was converted to a museum through efforts of Main Street Ozark and listed on the National Register on January 11, 1992.

This is a terrific place to visit or take children to for a field trip especially for home schooled groups. There is a lot of neat history here.
